Military graveside inurnment for George J. “Buzz” Bronicki, 61, Lawrence, KS, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2009 at the Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, KS. He died on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at his home.
He was born on June 17, 1948 in Altenstadt, Germany, the son of Michael and Pauline Nocula Bronicki who preceded him in death.
He was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Vietnam War. He also earned a PhD in Psychology.
Mr. Bronicki was employed as a printer for Allen Press in Lawrence,
He enjoyed collecting antiques and frequenting local coffee shops.
Survivors include a brother, Mike and wife, Karla Bronicki, of Edwardsburg, MI, three sisters; Sandy and husband, Ed Krzyzanowski, of Brooklyn Park, MN, Helen and husband, Mike Housand, of Mishawaka, IN, and Barbara King, of South Bend, IN. Also surviving is his longtime roommate, Joe Dotson of Lawrence.

I just learned of Buzz’s passing. I have many fond memories of him. He was a good friend and we shared some good times. May his family and friends remember only the good times and may God grant them comfort.
