May the love of God surround you during this time of sorrow. You’re in our thoughts and prayers.
Now he is gone, release him, let him go for he has so many things to see and do. You must not tie yourself to him with tears. Be happy that he has had so many years. He gave you his love, you can only guess how much you gave him back in happiness. He thanks you for the love you each have shown, but now it’s time he travels on alone. Grieve a while for him, if grieve you must then let your grief be comforted by trust. It’s only for a while that you must be apart, so bless the memories that lie within your heart. He won’t be far away, for life goes on, so if you need him, call and he will come, though you can’t see or touch him, he’ll be near. Listen with your heart and you’ll hear his love around you soft and clear. Then when you must come this way alone, he’ll greet you with a smile and say “Welcome Home”.

In his secular “retirement”, Frank did custodial and work in Lan’s office building, and some handyman work for us. I learned only later that he was a minister, but I was not surprised. I was impressed by the dignity and humility with which Rev. Galloway carried out his work and his life. His legacy will be one of inspiration. Lan and I extend our sympathy to his family and friends.

I knew Franklin as a neighbor of my mother, Josephine White, and a person who was kind and looked after her like a son. He was always cheerful and caring and we willnever forget him.
