Graveside services for Ella Mae Cofer, 94, Lawrence, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence. She died on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at her home.
Ella was born on March 6, 1918 in Little Rock, OK the daughter of William and Myrtle (Booth) Ubank.
She was a homemaker.
She married Harry H. Cofer on July 2, 1941 in Monroe County, AR. He preceded her in death December 8, 1973.
Survivors include two daughters, Julia Ann Melton, Eva Mae Cofer, Lawrence; one son, Jerry Lee Cofer; Lawrence; twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Beverly Raulsten; three sisters, and two brothers.
The family suggests memorials in her name to the Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
