My father, Don Norris, was the first man in my life and I will always love him. He wiped my tears, fixed my dollies, he even fixed the zippers in my clothes. There wasn’t anything my Daddy couldn’t do. He left us to go to his new home in Heaven. We miss him so bad already but we are trying to be strong because we know he went home to be back with mama and all his family and friends. Daddy I love ya! Your daughter,
    Pam Norris-Cook

Uncle Donald was a kind, generous man, and he will be missed by many. I am fortunate to have some of his craft works in my home. Although I will not be able to make the trip to Lawrence due to my disability, my love and prayers will be with all of you. I’m so glad we were able to get together with you all in July 2009 and have a chance to enjoy Uncle Donald’s stories of his youth. May God bless each of you. Love, Cousin Carol

I’ve known Don for more than 10 years. I haven’t known a kinder, gentler man than him. He was truly a joy to know, and it was an honor to be his physician for these years. He will be sorely missed. My condolences to Nikki and the entire family
