Memorial services for Daniel Scott Lanier, 29, Lawrence will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Sickles Community Church in Lookeba, Oklahoma. Inurnment will follow at Sickles Cemetery. Daniel died on April 5, 2009 in Douglas County.
He was born on September 23, 1979 in Weatherford, Oklahoma the son of Steve Lanier and Christi Martin Lanier.
Survivors include his mother and father, and step mother, Karen; three brothers, Nathan, and wife Misti, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Matthew, and wife Mudhita, Jakarta, Indonesia, Anthony Morris, Hinton, Oklahoma; Maternal Grandmother, Margie Martin, Crawford, Oklahoma; one niece, Candace Lanier, Eakly, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Martin Lanier.
The family suggests memorials contributions may be made in his name to the Salvation Army and sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
