Aline Noland

A memorial service for Aline Stamper Hawk Noland, 98, will be at 1:00 pm, Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.  Inurnment at a later date in Centralia.
 She died Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Garden Terrace in Overland Park, KS.

Aline was born September 1, 1912 in Bonita, LA to John M. and Ruby Carter Stamper
The family moved to Atchison, KS in 1914. Following the death of Ruby Stamper in 1919,
She was adopted by R.B. and Mary Hawk

She graduated from Centralia High School and married Raymond E. Noland in 1931
She worked as a secretary for the State of Kansas for 26 years. She moved to Lawrence
in 1986 following the death of her husband in 1985.  She was a member of the Methodist
Church of Atchison.

She is survived by her son R. Eugene Noland, Lawrence; a sister Ruth Wilkin, Topeka and
four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, a son Richard Noland, a sister Mary Evelyn Galatola
and four brothers.
