Alice Elaine Terry

Memorial services for Alice Elaine Terry, 77, Lawrence will be held, 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 27, 2020 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Burial will be held at a later date at Highland Cemetery in Ottawa, KS. She passed away Friday, July 24, 2020 at her home.

She was born on June 3, 1943 in Banger, PA the daughter of Phillip and Virginia (Dangler) Rimel.

She was a member of the Assembly of God.

Alice loved birds, watching squirrels, reading and gardening. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a security guard at Hercules Powder Plant in De Soto, KS.

She married Wendell L. Terry on October 10, 1987 in Douglas County. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include her two daughters Deborah K. Baker Bayless of Terrell, TX and her children, Jeremy Holt, Christi and her husband, Marcus Williams, Robert Baker, Jerica Baker; Audrey L. Williams husband, Casey of Lawrence, KS and their children, Joshua Bayless, Jessica Bayless, Clifton Clay, Casey Williams and Shanieka Williams; nine great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Ann White, Brownsville, TX; and brother, John Rimel, Nevada City, CA.
