Every life deserves a celebration
At Warren-McElwain, we are honored to be able to help you choose the perfect final farewell for a loved one, or to preplan for yourself. We will work with you to customize arrangements to fit any budget, tradition, and style. From traditional funerals to our cremation with confidence, your celebration of life is sure to be as unique as your family. We handle every last detail, including several different distinctive transportation choices to transport your loved one to their final resting place.
In appreciation of our country’s veterans, we provide the utmost care and honor to this deserving group of men and women. We will help make arrangements, from burial or entombment in a veteran’s cemetery to full military honors.
For those who are more environmentally conscious you may wish to choose green burial or direct cremation, eliminating the use of embalming and making for a more natural option. Lawrence’s all-natural section in Oak Hill Cemetery is set aside for these purposes and is habitat for many native plants.
Cremation, whether direct, contemporary, or traditional is not only more friendly to our planet, but still a dignified, and final farewell. Whether you choose burial of the cremains, entombment, or keeping them in an urn or other memorial keepsake close to you, we will give you peace of mind by handling all the arrangements. If you wish to scatter the ashes in a meaningful location, we can help you determine any relevant regulations and permits needed for those purposes.
Another popular trend is preplanning for your own arrangements. Many people wish to participate in planning their own arrangements in advance so that every detail can be just the way they want it. Preplanning also helps ease the burden on family members when they are already grieving. You can start the preplanning process online, or call and make an appointment for help from our friendly staff.
We also have an exceptional selection of merchandise to match every style, personality, and budget. You can view our selection of monuments, caskets, urns, and memorial keepsakes online or visit our office at 120 W. 13th Street for personalized assistance.
