Memorial visitation for Vicci Erwin, will be 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. She died August 18, 2023, in Allen, Texas.
Vicci was born May 24, 1949 in Lawrence, Kansas, the daughter of Lila Avey Evans Patton and William (Bill) Evans. .
Vicci worked for Goddard School District and as an in-home care giver before retiring.
Vicci was a member of American Legion Dorsey-Liberty Post No. 14.
Hobbies or Interests were her card clubs and gardening.
She married and divorced James L Mace, Dennis Alt and Ben Erwin.
Survivors include her daughters, Marketa Mace McKenzie (Mike), and Shabecca Erwin, five grandchildren, Lukas Mace (Shannon), Brandon McKenzie, Katelyn McKenzie Koupal (Kyle), Haidyn McKenzie and Clayton Goodell, two great grandchildren, Ansley, and Barrett Mace and two sisters, Rhonda Hunt and Judy Crawford.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lila Patton, her father, William Evans, a daughter Marsha Mace and a brother JD Evans.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary 120 W. 13th St. Lawrence, KS 66044.

Shabecca,, Clayton and the rest of Vicci’s Children, Grandchildren and great grandchildren. So sorry for the loss of your Mom, grandma. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May the Lord wrap his loving arms around each of you and give you peace and comfort through this time.
