He attended Washburn University and was a graduate of Kansas State College of Engineering in 1990. Todd married Natalee Lindsay on May 26, 1990 in Topeka, KS. Todd worked at Guarantee Mutual in Omaha, NE for six years. He has worked at Cerner Corporation for the past 19 years and was a Senior Technology Architect in the CWx Technology Improvement group. Todd was a member of the Eudora Baptist Church, and enjoyed supporting and participating in various missions activities. He was an incredible and dedicated husband and father and was his kids’ biggest fan. Todd loved participating in various recreational sports and ran six marathons. He was also passionate about watching sporting events and following local teams, especially KU, Sporting KC, and EHS. Todd enjoyed camping, hunting, playing cards, riding horses, and playing racquetball with his friends.
Todd is survived by his wife, Natalee; a son, Jacob; three daughters, Emma, Annie, and Jenna, all of Eudora, KS; his father, Loren Beck of Topeka, KS; two sisters, Cristy Reichert of Topeka, KS and Jamie Stephens of Berryton, KS and her son, Brian; and daughter, Paige.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Beck Family Children’s Educational Fund and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
I don’t believe I have words to describe the sadness I feel in my heart. Todd, you will be missed, but promise you show God how to play tennis!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Being in a community for such a long time, there is no finer family. A smile comes to my face each time I think of the good because I cannot think of a moment that was not. Todd, you will be missed, but your family will continue to bring happiness….because that’s what you did, and that’s what they will do.
I have such sweet memories of Todd from driving all your children on the school bus from K-until they were old enough to drive themselves. Him putting them on the bus, passing him running on the road (and the kids getting excited, saying theirs my Dad) or the painted sign on the last day of school waiting for them when they got home advancing to the next grade. Such a dedicated father and husband. Your all in my thoughts and prayers.
With deep sorrow, Tracy Wingebach

So sorry to hear of your loss. Words cannot do anything to take away the pain of grief, but know that you are not alone as the congregation of First Southern Baptist Church stand with you in prayer.
We always loved seeing Todd at the games and EHS activities cheering on his kids. I have so appreciated having your children in class and taking some on trips to other countries. Your family has been an inspiration to us. We love you all and are keeping you in our prayers at this time.
Nat, I can’t express the sadness I feel in my heart for you and the kids. My heart goes out to you and your family in great sympathy as you celebrate Todds life and mourn his loss. May Gods presence begin the healing in your heart and soul, and may his love surround you with comfort only he can give. Love you ~

While there are no words adequate for how I know you all are feeling right now just know I am sending my love and prayers! Hold tight to your memories and your faith and each other!
When I read that Todd loved to ride horses I had to laugh…it reminded me of a time when we were kids and they came to Plainville, KS to visit us on the ranch we were living on at the time and he went riding. The horse he was on decided to take a roll in the creek! Lol. Good times! We teased him for years!
Todd was a great man and will be missed by many…but of course you all already know that! Love you all!
Your Cousin, Janet Lonnberg
Cristy & Family-
My prayers go out to you and your family. May God be with you during this time.

Nat, Jim and I are so very sorry. Please know that our love and prayers go out for you and the kids.
To Nat and the kids, my deepest sympathies. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. It’s amazing to me to think that I lived but 10 miles from someone who was such an important part of my life, from before I could walk to early adulthood, and I rarely ever reached out to him, let alone tell him that he was. For that, I’m sorry.
I am so very sorry for your loss- We as kids lived in the same block. He was always a good kid. I will keep all the family and friends in my prayers
My cousin Todd and I were best buddies when he was growing up even though there was eleven years between us. For a long time, we were the only two grandsons among a whole gaggle of girls. You will be missed Todd. Words cannot even begin to express my sorrow.
Natalee and family,
We were so saddened to learn of your husband’s accident and sudden death.
We are praying for you and your family.
My first memories of Todd include smurfs! He was a sweet guy way back then, and I know he’ll be missed. My prayers are with you and your family Nat.
My wife and I have great memories of Todd as a member of our youth group, 1st Southern Baptist Church,Topeka. He was always smiling and full of fun. He was an asset to the group and a strong teen leader. We will miss him but know we will reunite someday. Prayers to his family and dad. Such a great loss to us here but a strong addition to heaven.
Nat, Jacob, Annie, Emma, & Jenna: words can not express the sorrow that I know you all are feeling during your time of grief. Your husband and father will always be remembered as a wonderful and great man! I feel it an honor to say that I was able to get to know the amazing man he was over the years, especially with all of the softball and soccer games with the kids over the years. His presence, big smile, and laughing eyes will be missed, however, in all of our hearts and our memories abound forever! My heart, thoughts, and prayers go out to all of you during this time and in the coming days as you put his loving heart in Gods hands, until you meet again someday. Love to you all!
Nat, Jacob, Annie, Emma, & Jenna,

Julie and I are sorry for your loss you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
I met Todd in 1984 ( we were both kids… me a whopping 24.. Todd 19).. we worked together at Macy’s in Topeka KS ( I have a TON of fond memories of those days)…..not too soon after Todd visited my wife Cathy and I when we lived in Atlanta GA.. my wife had also worked with Todd in Topeka…. anyways Todd and I had drifted apart.. a mutual friend gave me the recent news.. which saddened both my wife and I VERY much… but after reading his obituary Todd seemed to be the same Todd I knew way back when…reading what he has accomplished in his life doesn’t surprise me at all… GREAT guy.. a ton of positive energy… Cathy and I am blessed to have crossed paths with Todd…. you made me laugh… love you and miss you buddy!!!
Very sad to hear about your loss. Our deepest sympathies go out to you all. ~ Alan, Mary, Kaitlyn & Hunter

Nat, I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Remember you are all loved deeply. “From the darkness that follows death, comes a light to shine on the path of understanding”. My love. Julie
My heart goes out to out to you during this time of loss. While I have my own story of sudden loss at a young age, I cannot say I know what you are going through. My hope for you as you ride the unwanted roller coaster of grief, is that you will take the time you need to heal, to pull together with family and friends, and to seek the Lord always (especially if and when questions, anger or the feeling He is far come to haunt you). Peace be with you.
Timothy

Dear Beck Family,
I had the privilege of working w/ Todd for 17 years at Cerner and I know he was greatly respected here and will be missed dearly. He and I used to talk running quite a bit when he was marathoning. I will miss his down-to-earth personality.
