Dear Jessepe Family Cousins,
I deeply regret that I never got the opportunity to get to know my cousin, Sash, better. But I have heard from those who knew her well that she was a cool, beautiful person. As a student at Haskell, I have had so many people ask me if I am related to her that I have thought of printing up a T-Shirt that says: “Yes, I’m Marilyn Jessepe’s Cousin!”
Rest in Peace, Sash.
Much Love,
Your Cousin, Lorraine Jessepe

Dear LaCour Family
Our deepest heart felt condolences for your lost. Steve, our prayers and thoughts our with you and your family. She will surly be missed.
My deepest sympathy to the family, relatives and friends. To love some one so dearly and then to let them go is is so heartbreaking. Precious memories flash through your mind and you can either cry or laugh. Being the person she was she would rather want you to laugh and live on. It’s easier said than done. Just remember her hopes and dreams she had for each of you. The kind words and love that each of you remembers. I sent my prayers for the family.
Nora and family, Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. In thoughts and prayers, Dawn, Roger, Al-bee, Angel, and Danielle

Marilyn was a classmate of mine at Powhatan High School. I was new to the school. I remember very well she was the kindest person to everyone it was like it was an honor to know her. She was a giving person who was always soft spoken and pleasant to everyone. She always said hello to me at many pow wows. The Lord is gaining a very special angle. She will be missed by many. My prayers go out to her husband and family.
My condolences to the families. I too went to High School at Powhattan with Marilyn. She always had a sweet and kind spirit to everyone and if something wasn’t right she was the first to speak up. She was a proud Kickapoo lady always. I remember when my daughter started Haskell she quickly came up to us to make sure we knew about the tribes higher education program. It was good to know she was concerned. It was a feeling of belonging that I will never forget. Sadly, I believe it was the last time I saw her. Rest in peace beautiful lady!
