Funeral services for Shari Ann (Reed) Sheaffer, 66, Lawrence will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Lawrence Wesleyan Church. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence. She died November 26, 2011 at her home.
Shari was born on July 25, 1945 in Lawrence, KS the daughter of William and Emma (Richardson) Reed.
She was a homemaker. She worked as a waitress at Don’s Steakhouse for over 25 years. Shari was a member of Lawrence Wesleyan Church.
Survivors include one son, Troy Parmely, Lawrence; three grandchildren, Emily Porter, Troy Parmely, Jr., Cody Parmely; one brother, Mike Reed, Topeka, KS; three sisters, Judy Henderson and husband, Glenn, Julia P. Reed, both of Lawrence, Vicky Hofer and husband, Dale, Eudora, KS and companion of 10 years, Bill Graff, Lawrence. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will greet friends from 4 – 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Lawrence Wesleyan Church and may be sent in care of the mortuary.

I am so thankful to have know such a loving and caring individual. I much enjoyed our visits we had and she was always so welcoming. I am thankful she had such a wonderful family I heard many stories of you all. Peace be in your hearts as you know there is no more suffering. My thoughts are with you all.

So sorry for your lost. Wanted to come to funeral but came down with flu. Will always remember the good times we had when we were growing up. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
