Dear Jim, Pam, Dennis and family,
I was saddened to see Jo Ann’s obit in the paper this morning, but along with the sadness came a very warm feeling. I remember so many occasions when Pam and I would be hanging out at the house with friends, and how Jo Ann always made me and others feel so welcome. Those were some very fun times, and ones I haven’t forgotten over these many years. I moved away for a number of years, and am now back in Lawrence, still out in the Lakeview area. Pam, when you have some time down the road, could you please give me a call? I am unable to drop by Sunday for the visitation, but would very much enjoy reuniting with you to reminisce about the good old days. My day phone is 864-2149, and this note should contain my email as a contact, too.
I’m very sorry for your loss, and hope it helps to know that old friends are thinking of all of you at this time.
With warm thoughts and sympathy,
Valerie Farley Moreau

My condolences go out to the family of Jo Ann she will be missed by many. I only met Jo Ann a few times but when I did she was vey kind to me and made me smile.
Dear JoAnn… Your friendship meant a great deal to me when we lived in Lawrence. You were a wonderful example to my children. The times they slid down your side hill during snowstorms, the hot chocolate, mulberry pie and meatloaf lessons for Marie. The friendship Tally and Lucas offered my children is something our family will never forget. I personally will not forget the coffee talk and support you gave me when I needed it most.
My sincere sympathy to all of you.
