Mary Lou Schulenberg

No services will be held for Mary Lou Schulenberg, 60, Lawrence, KS.  She died on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born on July 28, 1950 in Portland, OR, the daughter of Alexander and Marilyn Kinchlow Wilhelm.  She had lived in Lawrence since 1976 moving here from Hillsboro, Oregon.

Mrs. Schulenberg was a beautician for a number of years. She then worked at Stokely-Van Camp in Lawrence and also for 19 years in housing at the University of Kansas.

She was married to Gordon Schulenberg on February 17, 1975 in Vancouver, WA.  He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two daughters; Ruth Schulenberg of Phoenix, AZ, Terrie Schulenberg and husband, Oliver Uttley, of Lawrence, KS, two sons; Jason Gade  and wife, Janice Gade, of Aloha, OR, Daniel Gade, of Texas, a brother, George Wilhelm and wife, Cindy, of Vancouver, WA, four grandchildren: Kevin Gade, Derek Gade, Elisabeth Gade and Isaac Uttley.

The family suggests memorials in her name to Cans for the Community and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
