William “Will” DeErvin Glover, Jr.

Memorial services for William “Will” DeErvin Glover, Jr., 38, Lawrence will be held at 10:00 a.m. November 22, 2017 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. He was called home Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in Lawrence, KS.

William was born November 11, 1979 in Lawrence, KS, the son of William Milton Glover, Sr. and Lorene A. Butler Glover.

He was a Lawrence High School graduate and had many skills and trades in carpentry, plumbing, roofing and window installation. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend and will truly be missed.

He leaves behind his parents, William and Lorene Glover; siblings, JoLavon Moniz who resides in Wichita, KS, Michelle Glover, Joplin, MO, Olivia Glover, Christie Glover, both of Lawrence; his daughter, MaKenna Glover, four nieces, Chelsea Byerley, Erika Byerley, Shaiyanna Harris, Mahalia Harris; three nephews, Kenneth Byerley, Jr., LaShonte Harris, Jr., Kal-El DeWitt; five aunts; an uncle; two great nieces and great nephews; and numerous cousins.

The family will greet friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 21st at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.

Memorial contributions may be made in Will’s name to the Warren-McElwain Mortuary to go towards his funeral expenses.

    To my brother William and my sister Ann, I cannot find the words to say. I am sadden to hear of William passing. Not a day go by, that I don’t think about you two. May God strength you and replace your sadness with peace . I cannot be there with you but my prayers and thoughts are. Love you.
