Suzanne Bird Trowbridge Wolf, 77, Lawrence, died December 5, 2017 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born in Wichita, Kansas in 1940. She graduated from the University of Kansas in 1962. Then she married and moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts. She divorced, re-married, and moved to New York City. She returned to Lawrence in 1976.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Lawrence Public Library and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

    Susie was caring person. She helped us start the free lunch program called the Saturday Meal Group. That’s just one example of how she helped others when she was able to. Her legacy is appreciated.

    Susie was a sweet, kind, and caring person. Even during tough times, she was strong, funny, and loved to laugh. I will miss her.

    I didn’t know Susie very well but I remember her as a caring, community-spirited individual. She will be missed!
