Sorry to hear about Scott’s passing. I remember how I would always see him picking up trash on the side of the 40 hiway to keep it clean during high school days. He was my buddies brother and rural neighbor (well before west Lawrence expanded past the pasture and farm land) RIP.

I worked at LHS in maintenance when Scott was the grounds keeper there. He took such pride in his work and we received numerous calls from neighbors “Thanking Scott” for his work. Nice, gentle soul, who made an impression on me for no longer than we worked together at LHS. My condolences to his family and friends.

My name is Tim Leatherman, I did not know Scott personally, but did work closely with Diane at BCBSKS until my retirement this January.
I am very sorry for your loss. I applaud you, Diane in the care of Scott. You insured that he had the best of care. Even making sure he got to see his Star Wars movie. I’m sure he appreciated all that you did beyond any words he could convey.
Again very sorry for your loss.
    God be with you all.
    Tim Leatherman
