A Memorial Service for Rose M. Ball, 85, Lawrence will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 13, 2018 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary Eudora Chapel. She passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at her brother and sister-in-law’s residence.
Rose was born August 22, 1932 in Tarkio, Missouri, the daughter of Hubert and Ester Hogue.
She married Jesse Ball on February 26, 1957in Kansas City, Missouri. He preceded her in death.
Rose is survived by her brother-in-law, Lonnie Ball, sister-in-law, Hope Cundiff and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Rose was a Cosmetologist in Kansas City and Lawrence for 30 years and then worked for The State of Kansas for 13 years before retiring.
Memorial Contributions may be made in her name to The Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
Hope and Lonnie – so sorry for the loss of Rosie. She was a very sweet lady. We will all miss her.
