The last time I was in Lawrence I heard that your dad was ill. I am sorry to hear that he passed away. However, I did get to see him and talk a few years ago when my mother died. It is always difficult to deal with a death and everyone has their own way. I hope you all have found yours!

At a time long ago I considered George a good friend, and Father-in-law. He didn’t have to be so nice to me, but he, and Helen, were. My life was truly blessed by his presence
