A lot of my classmates and I have grown up with Eli, going back as early as kindergarten. Even though we weren’t close, I could tell he was a down to earth and kind-hearted person. Even though there could never be words beautiful enough to ease the pain of losing him, please know that he had a genuinely positive impact on everyone.

Victoria…I would do anything to take away this kind of pain from one of my students. I wish I could. All I can say is to take comfort in his arms being around you now, watching you and keeping you safe from Heaven. He will always be with you, watching over you, and he wants you to be happy remembering all the love and happiness you shared. I love you, and I wish I could be there with you. Please call me if you need me.

Eli was a wonderful young man and we were so happy he was making a life with my granddaughter, Victoria Elizabeth Jaskiewicz. They had a love that was so special that anyone could see it when they were together. We will always love and miss him, he was a big part of our family’s life.
