Graveside services Betty Mohler, 94, Ozark, MO will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Eudora City Cemetery in Eudora, KS. The family will greet friends from 7 – 8 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence, KS.
Betty died May 28, 2018 at Hopedale Cottages in Ozark, Missouri.
She was born May 13, 1924 in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Wilbur and Alice (Bailey) Kuhlman.
She lived in Lawrence for 22 years before retiring to Arkansas. She lived the last 26 years in Clever, Missouri before moving to Hopedale Cottage in 2018.
She was a secretary for 12 years at the University of Kansas and a homemaker for many years after she married Clarence. She enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, traveling and watching nature outside her window.
She married Clarence Mohler on December 20, 1979 in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 23, 1983. One grandson preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Kelly, three sons, Michael Artherton(Judy), Danny Artherton, Kenneth Artherton(Sharon); step-daughter, Judy Foster(John); brother, Howard Kuhlman; two sisters, Darlene Sheriff(Donald) and Barbara Lee; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Peace to the family, I cared for Betty at her home and enjoyed every minute! I truly loved her and the family, she will be greatly missed.
